FEC Has Approved N126bn For Reconstruction Of 12 Roads Across Nigeria

On Wednesday, the Federal Government penned the approval of N126 billion for the reconstruction of 12 roads across Nigeria.

The approval of the reconstruction of the roads was made by the Federal Executive Council, FEC at the meeting cheered by the Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The Federal Executive Council also approved a new national Health Policy for the country at the meeting.

According to correspondent at the end of the meeting said that the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and the Minister of Health, Budget and National Planning said that the reconstruction of the roads would help reduce time spent on the roads when traveling and would also restore confidence.

Speaking with newsmen, Mr Babatunde Fashola said, “Council has considered and approved the reconstruction of 12 roads, and these roads are spread across the country, from Kano, Bauchi, Gombe/Adamawa, Enugu, Kaduna, Bauchi/Gombe.

The Minister of Heath, Prof. Isaac Adewole said the federal Executive Council has approved a new National Health Policy which is making it the third for the country.

Speaking with newsmen, the Minister of Heath said the first Health policy for the country was enacted in the year 1988 and the second one was in 2004 but this recent one is promoting the health of Nigerians to accelerate socio-economic development
